From Winter to Spring
Lookbook

As winter comes to an end, flowers are starting to bloom and the sun comes to visit more often, it feels like the perfect time for a fresh start, and a new wardrobe. Here’s my “From ‘winter to spring’ lookbook”! Of course I once again worked with THE team, consisting of Samantha Clifton, well-known, multi-talented photographer and Merlize du Toit, my personal and fabulous MUA and hairstylist!

Our location was an absolute perfect find. Let me tell you and have a ‘moment of truth’, I was ridiculously sick with bronchitis during this shoot, it was pouring rain and freezing, and we needed this shoot to look fresh, fun and like SPRING! So, how absolutely perfect was the backdrop? We did the shoot at Flowers in the Foyer in Stellenbosch. (A GEM I tell you!)

All garments (except the shoes and jewellery, as well as the cream jeans in look 4) are from Sassy Chic and can be purchased online, by clicking here, NOW: www.sassychic.co.za

Look 1:

I paired this gorgeous burgundy pleated skirt with two tops. One of my favourite T-shirts (Yes, purely because it says ‘GRL PWR’, and a crushed cream velvet crop top. Same skirt, two different outfits.

Look 2 and 3:

I call this a pink affair. How gorgeous? So easy to dress it up, or down. This sportsluxe soft pink dress, as well as the soft pink SassyChic Marilyn dress are perfect spring and summer must-haves. I also love the Marilyn dress for wedding season coming up! This dress can be worn off the shoulder as well.

Look 4:

A classic black SassyChic waterfall blouse, paired with a plain cream jeans and pumps, makes a easy, classic and effortless ‘from winter to spring’ look.

Look 5:

This is a little bit more edgy. I paired the classic oat beige SassyChic V-dress with denim thigh-high peep-toe boots to create an edgy look. This dress can be worn over pants/leggings, with heels or pumps and it will still look funky, on-trend and different.

Look 6:

Classic. Sleek. Date night or business. Easy to dress up, or down. This milk SassyChic Candice dress is life right now. So easy to dress up or down (adding a denim jacket with sneakers or pumps can add a sportsluxe feel, or simply adding a beautiful coat with ankle boots will make it a timeless look) and extremely comfortable. I went for a date-night look in these images, but to each their own. I’m going to wear this dress in various different day / night, casual / formal ways.
