#OOTD - From day to night!

Hi guys!

It’s been a minute! I hope everyone is having an absolutely fantastic day! – I decided it’s time for a quick check-in, so let’s get cracking! The makeup look in these images were done by Merlize du toit and photos by Candice Rodrigues Photography

#OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) posts has been everywhere – So I decided instead of doing many looks (referring to my ‘LookBooks’) at once, I’ll just be focusing on what I’m wearing today and how I’ll be transforming it from day to night! (As well as hopefully showing you guys how easy it is to take one item and transform it into many different looks!)

I’ve been playing around with some of my favourite cocktail dresses lately, to spice up my wardrobe and here’s my first ‘day to night’ look!

Starting with evening: I had an event (like a launch of a product or venue), wedding, a dinner or a great night out in mind with this look)

A simple yet sleek powder blue (‘Roxy’) bodycon dress with side rouching, plunge V-necklinevand criss-cross cami strap detail from Sassy Chic, and I’ve paired it with a plain black (with gold detail) clutch from Colette by Colette Hayman (I go to the one in Canal Walk). I know you can’t see my shoes, but I’d simply pair it with a black stiletto or strappy heel - like the image I added below (the one below is from Steve Madden)

For daytime, I simply added a denim jacket and a denim with floral detail cap (I am obsessed with caps lately) from Tessa Design (YDE), paired with a black backpack (from Colette by Colette Hayman) to create a more fashion forward, but still comfortable look to run errands in, go to meetings or a coffee with a friend! Oh, and for shoes you can go with flats, sneakers or a pop of colour like I did in this look (and it’s super comfy!) – These shoes I bought from a stylist on set for a shoot, haha!

Let me know what you think of this post (and if you’d ever wear these looks, I get that people and taste differ) and would like to see more #OOTD posts by connecting with me on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter!
